Who we are
Cleverly AI Pty Ltd (ACN 690 092 052) runs this website. Our office is at Greenwood Business Park, Building 1/301 Burwood Hwy, Burwood, VIC 3125, Australia.
This page covers the information you give us through this website, and nothing else. If you are a client, the agreement you signed with us covers how we handle your organisation's information, and that agreement takes precedence.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What you give us
Only what you type in. Depending on which form you use, that is:
- Your name and email address
- Your organisation and your role, if you choose to add them
- Whatever you write in a message to us
We also record which page you were on when you contacted us, how you found us, for example whether you arrived from an advertisement or a search, and basic details about the browser and country you were using. That tells us which of our pages are useful. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, sensitive information such as health, financial or identity details. Please do not send them to us.
Why we use it
To do the thing you asked for, and nothing else:
- To send you a document you requested
- To reply to your enquiry
- To arrange and hold a meeting, if you book one
Whether we send you anything else
Only if you tick the box asking us to, and it is never ticked for you. If you leave it alone you will receive what you asked for and nothing further.
If you do tick it, every email we send has an unsubscribe link, one click, no login and no explanation required. We act on it within five working days, and almost always straight away.
If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of your email address for the sole purpose of making sure you are not contacted again. That record holds nothing but the address, it is never used for anything else, and it stays with us permanently. It is the only thing that reliably stops a future email reaching you.
Who else sees it
Nobody, in the sense that matters. We do not sell your details, we do not trade them, and we do not pass them to anyone else for their own marketing.
We use ordinary business services to run the website and send email, and those providers hold the information only to provide that service to us.
How long we keep it
If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we are working together and for seven years afterwards, which is what our company record keeping obligations require.
If you contact us but we do not end up working together, we delete your details24 months after your last contact with us. That is deliberately long enough to cover two budget cycles, because organisations often plan a year before they act. After that, they go.
The unsubscribe record described above is the one exception, and it is kept on purpose.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
Email us and we will:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, if you want it gone, unless we are required to keep a record of it
There is no charge and no form to fill in. We will come back to you within 30 days, and usually much sooner. If we cannot do what you asked, we will tell you why.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled this
Tell us first, using the address below, and we will try to sort it out.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner atoaic.gov.au.
